Ian Reeves is a film-maker, a digital storyteller, a creative media consultant, editorial trainer and a creator of immersive content for projection-mapped projects. He is an honorary professor of journalism, having been head of the Centre of Journalism at the University of Kent. He is an award-winning writer, and author of books including The Newspapers Handbook. He is also a former editor of journalism industry magazine Press Gazette.
Ian was also founding chair of trustees for the charity which brought The Horton Arts Centre in Epsom to life, restoring a derelict Grade II listed building and opening it as a thriving arts centre which attracts performers, artists and audiences from all over the world.
He is currently chair of the social-impact charity Football Journeys, which transforms lives of young people at risk of marginalisation in London schools, using football and creative film-making to make a huge social impact.
